Organised by the questions people actually ask, from first getting in touch through to what happens after your site is live. If yours isn't here, just ask directly.
Get in touch through the contact page, by phone, or by email — tell me a bit about your business, and I'll come back to you the same day, usually. From there it's a quick conversation to understand what you need, then I get building.
Yes — there's a selection of live client sites on the homepage, and you're welcome to ask for more before deciding anything.
No. We'll talk through your business and what you offer, and I'll write it from there. You don't need to be a writer, and you don't need to be technical either.
Just a conversation about your business — what you do, who your customers are, and what you want visitors to do on the site. If you've got a logo or photos you'd like used, send those over too, but neither is required to get started.
Mostly tradespeople and small local businesses — see the full business types list. If you're not sure your business fits, just ask and I'll give you an honest answer.
It covers the build itself, your first month of hosting, and your domain name — so there's nothing extra to buy just to get live.
Hosting, and everything that goes with it — your site staying online, fast, and secure. It covers what most small businesses need. If yours is going to be more involved, we'll talk it through once you're on board.
No. The price on the site is the price you pay — no setup surprises, no sudden "platform fees" appearing later. The only optional add-on is business email at £5 a month, and that's entirely your choice.
No contract, no lock-in. If a site isn't working for you, I'd rather know than have you feel trapped in it.
Yes — a proper email address on your own domain (like you@yourbusiness.co.uk) is available as an add-on for £5 a month, on top of your hosting.
3–5 business days from our first conversation to a live site. Long enough to get it right, short enough that your momentum doesn't fade.
I write the copy based on our conversation, design and build the pages, and get everything tested and live — all handled by me directly, with no handoffs to anyone else.
Yes — if something's not quite right before launch, just say so. It's far easier to adjust things at this stage than after the site's live.
Then we talk about what's not working and I fix it. The goal is a site you're genuinely happy with, not just one that's technically finished.
£20 a month, one simple price — your first month's already covered by the £49.95 setup fee, along with your domain name. Sites are hand-built HTML rather than WordPress, so I host them myself, which is part of why they're fast and simple, not a limitation.
Yes — your domain is registered as part of the setup, and I handle the technical side of keeping it pointed at your site.
Yes — every site runs over HTTPS as standard, so visitors always get the secure padlock in their browser.
Get in touch and I'll sort it. Since I host and manage every site myself, there's no third-party support queue to wait in.
Yes — just get in touch. Small changes are usually sorted quickly and included as part of the monthly fee; anything bigger, I'll talk you through it honestly before doing any work.
£20 a month covers what most small businesses need. If your site grows beyond that, we'll talk it through and I'll let you know if there's anything extra to consider — no pressure either way.
You can, whenever you like — there's no contract and no penalty. I'd rather earn your business every month than trap you in one you regret.
No — I don't build ecommerce or listing/directory-style sites. I stick to simple, effective business sites, and I'd rather be honest about that than stretch into something I don't do well.
I don't add generic stock photography by default. If you've got your own photos, I'll use them — if not, we'll talk about what makes sense for your site.
Yes — most of the process happens over phone, email and video call anyway, so plenty of clients aren't local. Being based in Lincolnshire doesn't limit who I can help.
Yes — business VoIP phone lines and card payment machines are available as optional extras for clients who want one point of contact for more than just their website. See Extras for details.
No pressure, no obligation — just ask when we're in touch and I'll give you a straight answer.
