Be the locksmith people can reach at once.
The front door has shut with the keys inside. It is dark and the last bus has gone. Someone stands on the step and searches on their phone for a locksmith. They need a number to ring and a sign that this is a real business. Your website must give them both fast.
What a worried customer needs to see
Will you answer at night?
A locked-out person cannot wait for morning. Your hours and a big call button sit at the top, so they know at once whether you will pick up.
Can you reach me soon?
Nobody wants to wait outside for hours. A short note on how fast you can usually arrive, in your own words, tells them what to expect.
Are you a real locksmith?
Letting a stranger open your door takes trust. Your name, a photo of you or your van and a short line about how you work help people feel safe.
Will there be a shock bill?
Locked-out people fear a shock bill. A line on how you quote, and whether you charge a call-out fee, calms that fear before they ring.

When the phone rings most
Lock-outs happen all year, often late at night. Dark winter evenings and holiday weekends bring calls about lost keys. After a move or a break-in, people want new locks soon. The page works while you sleep, so a late caller can still find your hours and your number.
The pages we build
- Home
A big call button and your hours at the top, with a short line on the lock jobs you cover.
- Locked out?
A calm page for the worst moment, with what to have ready when you ring, and a big call button.
- Locks and keys
A plain list of the jobs you do, from lock-outs to new locks and spare keys.
- Areas we cover
The areas you cover, in one short list that is easy to read on a phone.
- Who you are
Your name, a photo and a line about how you work, so a stranger knows who is coming.
- Contact
Call, message or WhatsApp, whichever suits the person on the step.
Proof that settles a worry
Photos of finished locks
A neat new lock on a clean door shows care. Clear phone photos of your work are plenty.
Your van and your name
A photo of your van with your name on the side tells a stranger that you are a real business they can find again.
Customer words
A kind note from a past customer goes on the page in their own words. We use only real ones.
Quick answers up front
Short answers on call-out fees, timing and what to have ready can save a long phone call.
Registrations and memberships
Some locksmiths hold a registration or belong to a trade body. If that is you, we give each one a clear place near the top. The page lists nothing that you do not hold.
Getting paid on the day
The door is open and the customer is relieved, tired and ready to pay. With a card machine in your pocket, you take payment on the doorstep. Nobody needs cash in the middle of the night, and you are not left waiting for a transfer.
The terms, in full
- Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
- Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
- Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
- Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
- Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Quick answers
Can customers ring you with one tap?
Yes. The call button sits at the top of every page. On a phone, one tap starts the call, which suits someone standing outside in the cold.
Can the page show that you work nights?
Yes. Send us your hours and we place them beside the call button. If you do not answer at night, we say so plainly instead.
Does the page have to show prices?
No. A lock-out costs different amounts for different doors. A short note on how you quote is enough. We leave room for a call-out fee line if you charge one.
What if you are out on another job?
It depends on how you work. A message form sits below the call button. Someone you miss can leave a name and number, and you ring back when you are free.
Do you need photos of your work?
A few help. Clear photos of new locks, doors and keys show care. If you have none yet, the page still works, and we add photos later.
Will it read well on a small screen?
Yes. The page is made for a phone screen before anything else. The buttons are big enough for a cold thumb.
