Put your floors where people can see them.
Someone has pulled up an old floor and is staring at bare boards. They want wood, laminate or vinyl, but they cannot picture which. They search for a fitter and flick between a few sites. They want to see real floors in real rooms, and a way to ask about theirs.

What people want to know
Can you fit my kind of floor?
Solid wood, laminate and vinyl all need different skills. A list of the floors you fit, with a photo of each, shows people that you can do theirs.
Will it lie flat and quiet?
People worry about gaps, bumps and squeaks. A short note on how you check the ground under the floor first shows that you take care before you lay a single board.
Who moves the furniture?
Customers want to know who clears the room and who takes away the old floor. Say it plainly on one page and that worry goes away.
How do people ask about a price?
A short form on each page lets someone send the room size and the floor they like while your photos are still on screen.
Proof that wins the quote
Finished rooms
Wide, bright photos of floors in rooms with the furniture out. Phone photos work well, so long as the light is good.
Close-ups of the join
A near photo of a doorway or a stair edge shows how neat the finish is. Small detail like this reassures people.
Old floor, new floor
The old floor and the new floor in the same room tell the story in a glance. Send both photos and we put them together on the page.
Words from customers
Kind words from past customers go on the page just as they wrote them. Every line comes from a real person.
Registrations and memberships
Some floor work may call for a registration or a membership. Where you hold one, we give it a clear spot on your website. We add nothing that you have not told us you hold.
The pages we build
- Home
A big photo of a finished floor, one line on what you lay and a button to ask about a price.
- Our floors
Wood, laminate and vinyl in their own sections, so a visitor can go straight to the kind they want.
- Gallery
Finished rooms in large photos, with a line on the floor type and the room.
- How we fit
Measure, order, clear, lay and tidy up, told in short steps so customers know the plan.
- About you
You and your team, with a photo and a few lines on how you work.
- Get a price
A short form for the room size, the floor type and how to reach the customer.
Planning ahead
Floors are often changed before a house move, a family event or Christmas, so autumn can be busy. Some people wait for dry weather to carry out the old boards and bring in the new. Winter can be quieter. A fresh gallery keeps working through the slow weeks.
Deposits and final payments
Floors are often paid for in two steps: a part payment when the boards are ordered, and the rest when the last strip is down. A card machine lets the customer pay on the day, so you are not left chasing a transfer after you have packed up.
The terms, in full
- Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
- Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
- Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
- Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
- Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Quick answers
Can the site show each kind of floor you fit?
Yes. We build a page for each kind of floor, such as wood, laminate and vinyl. A visitor picks the one they like and sees only those photos.
Do you have to put prices on the website?
No. Floor costs change with the room, the boards and the ground underneath. Many fitters write that every job is quoted on its own. We leave room for either, and we only use figures you give us.
Can customers send you their room size?
Yes. The form has a box for the size of the room and a box for the floor they like. Someone with a tape measure can fill it in while they look at your photos.
What if you fit floors for builders too?
Mention it on the page that says who you work for. A line for trade customers and a line for homeowners lets both feel the site was made for them.
How often can new floors be added?
As often as you like. Send a photo and a line about the room after a job, and we add it. A gallery that keeps growing tells visitors you are busy.
Will big photos load fast on a phone?
They will. We shrink each photo so it opens quickly on a phone, and we keep it sharp enough to show the grain of the wood.
