A family has noticed their electricity bill creeping up. They search for someone to fit solar panels and a battery, and open a few websites side by side. They want clear photos of finished roofs and a simple way to ask for a visit.

What people want to know
Does the roof look neat?
Panels stay in view for a very long time, so people want straight rows and tidy cables. Big photos of finished roofs, from the ground and up close, show how carefully you work.
Will it suit the house?
Every roof faces a different way, and every home uses power differently. A short page on what you check at a first visit shows that you plan each system for the house in front of you.
What is a battery for?
Many people ask if they need one. A plain page on what a battery does, and what a system looks like with and without one, lets them decide before they pick up the phone.
Can people ask for a visit?
A short form on every page lets someone ask while the photos are still on screen. It asks about the roof and the home, so you arrive knowing what they have.
Proof that wins the quote
Finished roofs
Photos taken in daylight, from the ground and close up, so visitors can see the rows and the cable runs.
Roofs, then and now
A bare roof and the same roof with panels tell the story at once. Send both photos and we put them next to each other.
A battery in place
A clear photo of a battery on a wall, with a line on what it does, helps people picture the whole system.
Words from customers
Kind words from people you have worked for, copied exactly as they wrote them. None are added by us.
Registrations and memberships
Fitting solar can bring in electrical work and special registrations. Any you hold can go in a clear spot on the page. We leave out anything you do not hold.
The pages we build
- Home
A strong roof photo, a line on what you fit, and a big button to book a visit.
- Our installs
Finished roofs in clear photos, grouped by roof type so a visitor can find one like their own.
- What we fit
Panels, batteries and the parts between them, in plain words, with what you leave to other trades.
- How it works
A simple walk through the visit, the plan, the fitting days and the hand-over.
- About you
The people who will be on the roof and in the house, with a photo of the team.
- Book a visit
A short form that asks about the roof, the home and how to reach the customer.
Planning ahead
Many people look for solar when the sun is out and the days are long. Others start thinking after a cold winter and a big bill. Rain and wind slow roof work, so the diary can shift. Your website stays open all year, and fresh photos tell visitors that you are working.
Deposits and final payments
Solar is a big job, so many fitters ask for a deposit, then a payment when the panels are up and a last one at hand-over. A card machine takes each payment where you stand, and the money is not stuck waiting on a transfer.
The terms, in full
- Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
- Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
- Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
- Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
- Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Quick answers
Should the site explain what a battery does?
Yes. Many visitors are unsure if they need one. A short, plain page on what a battery stores and when it helps lets them decide, and it leads them to ask you.
Do you need photos of your own roofs?
Yes, a few at least. Photos of your own finished roofs show your standard. Taking them in daylight from the ground works well, and any modern phone will do.
Must the website show what a system costs?
No. Every home is different, so many fitters talk about price at the visit. If you want to show a starting price, we make room for it. We use only the figures you give us.
Can the page show different kinds of roof?
Yes. We can group your photos into slate, tile, flat and ground-mounted. A visitor with a flat roof can go straight to the ones like theirs.
Can the form ask about the roof?
Yes. It asks about the home, the roof and how to reach the customer. You begin the chat knowing what they have, which saves a first call full of questions.
How do new jobs get onto the website?
When a job ends, send us photos and a short note. We place them on the page for your finished roofs, so visitors always see your latest work.
