Make the first lesson easy to book.
A learner is ready to start driving, or a parent is helping them look. They search on a phone in the evening. They want to know which car you use, what a lesson involves and when you have a gap. If it is hard to find out, they try the next name.
What makes someone book
Is it manual or automatic?
Learners need the right kind of car. Your page says which cars you teach in, with a photo of each, so nobody has to ask first.
Will the instructor be patient?
Nervous learners want to know who will sit beside them. A friendly photo and a few lines about how you teach put them at ease.
What does a lesson involve?
A short guide to a first lesson, how long it lasts and what to bring helps a nervous learner. A price shows only if you want one shown.
Do you have a gap that suits me?
Learners fit lessons round school, college and work. Your page shows the days and hours you teach and how to ask for a slot.
The pages we build
- Home
A friendly photo of you, the car you teach in and a clear button to ask for a first lesson.
- Lessons
The kinds of lesson you teach, how long each lasts and a price or a starting price if you wish.
- Your cars
Photos of your cars, and a line to say whether each one is manual or automatic.
- About you
Who you are, how you teach and what a learner can expect from the first drive.
- Lesson times
The days and hours you teach, and an easy way for a learner to ask for a gap.
- Contact
A booking form, a WhatsApp link and your phone number, for learners and for parents.
Proof before the first visit
Your car and your face
A photo of the car, with you beside it, tells a learner who will be in the next seat.
Words from learners
A kind message from a learner or a parent goes on the page just as it was sent. We leave out anything you did not send.
How you teach
A short note on your calm, clear way of teaching helps parents choose with ease.
Clear lesson details
Lesson lengths and what a first lesson covers answer questions before anyone asks them.
Registrations and memberships
Driving teachers often hold a registration or a membership. If you do, it gets a clear place on your website. We list a thing only when you say it is yours.
Busy times and quiet times
Birthdays, school holidays and the weeks after exams bring waves of new learners. Light evenings in summer make lessons easy to fit in. Dark winter days suit fewer learners, but some still want to start. Your website stays open all year.
Paying at the appointment
The lesson ends and the learner, or a parent, wants to settle up. With a card machine in the car, they tap a card or a phone and the lesson is paid for. It also suits learners who buy lessons in a block.
The terms, in full
- Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
- Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
- Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
- Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
- Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Quick answers
Can learners ask for a lesson on the site?
Yes. We add a short form that asks for a name, a contact and the days that suit. You read it, then reply when you are out of the car.
Can the page say which car you teach in?
Yes. We show a photo of the car and say if it is manual or automatic. If you teach in both, each gets its own short line.
Do you have to show lesson prices?
No, though it can help. Parents often compare. You can show one price for a lesson, a price for a block, or a starting price. Whatever you send is what appears.
Can a parent get in touch for a learner?
Yes. The contact page has a form and a WhatsApp link that suit a parent as well as a learner. You choose which one to show first.
What if you teach at set times only?
Then we say so. A short line lists your days and hours, so learners know when to ask. Send new times when they change and we update the page.
Can the page add a note for nervous learners?
Yes. A few calm lines for nervous drivers help them take the first step. Tell us how you work with them and we turn it into plain words.
See your website before you decide.
Tell us about your business. We build the website first, free, and show you. Then we compare your card rate and you decide.
