Vehicles · Mobile mechanics

Be the mechanic who comes to the car.

The car will not start, and it is parked outside the house. The driver has work in an hour and no way to get the car to a garage. They search for a mechanic who comes to them. They need a number to call and a reason to believe you will turn up.

Your website, drawn. An illustration of a website for mobile mechanics. It is a drawing, not a real site.
First things first

What a worried customer needs to see

  1. Can you fix it where it is?

Some jobs need a garage and some do not. A list of what you fix at the roadside or on the drive tells the driver quickly whether you can help.

  2. Will you pick up when they ring?

A driver stuck by the road wants a person, not a voicemail. Your number is easy to tap, and the page says when you answer and what to do if you are on a job.

  3. Do you carry the parts?

People wonder if you can finish the job on the spot. A short line on what you carry in the van, and how you get other parts, answers it before the call.

  4. What will the visit cost?

A call-out can feel like a blank cheque. A note on how you quote, and what you charge to come out, lets a worried driver ring with a clear head.

The jobs

Jobs people ring about

  • Flat batteries
  • Starter motors
  • Alternators
  • Brake pads and discs
  • Oil and filter changes
  • Spark plugs and coils
  • Warning light checks
  • Belts and hoses
  • Bulbs and wipers
  • Pre-MOT checks

When the phone rings most

Cold mornings bring flat batteries and cars that will not start. Wet weeks show up worn wipers and weak brakes. Summer trips bring calls for checks before a long drive. Your page stays open all night, ready for the early start.

What we build

The pages we build

  1. Home

Your number, what you fix at the roadside and a button to call, all on the first screen.

  2. Breakdown help

A page for the worst moment, with what to do and what to have ready while you are on your way.

  3. What we fix

Jobs you can do on a drive or at the roadside, set out in a plain list.

  4. When you work

The days and hours you take calls, and how far you will travel, in one short line.

  5. About you

The mechanic behind the van, with a photo and a few warm lines.

  6. Contact

One tap to call, a quick message box and a WhatsApp link for photos of the problem.

Proof that settles a worry

Jobs on the drive

Photos of you at work beside a car on a drive show customers that the job can be done there.

Words from drivers

Thanks from a driver you got moving again, copied as they wrote it. We invent none of it.

A van that is ready

A clear photo of the van, with the tools and a tidy shelf inside, shows a customer you come prepared.

Registrations and memberships

Some vehicle work comes with a registration or a membership. If you hold any, they get a clear place on your page. We show only the ones you tell us you have.

The Payment package

Getting paid on the day

The engine is running again and the driver wants to pay and leave. A card machine in your hand lets them tap right there on the drive or at the kerb. No cash is needed and no one has to remember a transfer later.

The terms, in full

  • Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
  • Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
  • Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
  • Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
  • Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Questions

Quick answers

Can drivers ring you from the page?

Yes. A call button sits beside your name on each page. On a phone, a tap starts the call, so a stressed driver need not type a number.

What if you are under a bonnet when they ring?

We add a message box next to the call button. The driver leaves a name, a number and what the car is doing. You read it when your hands are clean.

Can the page show the hours you take calls?

Yes. Tell us when you answer and when you do not, and we put it near your number. We write just the hours you give us.

Should the page give a call-out charge?

It depends. Some mechanics list one, and some quote after a short chat. We leave room for either, and we never invent a figure.

Can you say which cars you can fix?

Yes. A short line about the makes you work on, or a note that you take most cars, saves a wasted call. You tell us, and we write it.

Which photos should we start with?

A few clear ones of you at work, your van and your tools. A phone is plenty. Send more any time and we add them.
