Building and renovation · Garage door installers

Let your doors do the talking.

A garage door has started to stick, or it just looks tired. The owner is not sure whether to mend it or swap it. They search on a phone and open a few installer sites. They want to see the styles on offer and how a visit works.

Your website, drawn. An illustration of a website for garage door installers. It is a drawing, not a real site.
Before they ask

What people want to know

Will the new door look right?

A door is the biggest thing on the front of a garage. Photos of finished doors on real garages, grouped by style, help a customer picture theirs.

Is it safe around children and cars?

Garage doors are heavy, and people worry about them closing on a hand or a bonnet. A short page on the safety features you fit, in your own words, answers that.

Can you fit it to my garage?

Garages come in odd sizes, and some have a low roof or a tight side. Say what sizes and openings you can handle, and a customer knows early if you can help.

Can the door open by remote?

Some owners want a door that opens at the touch of a button. A clear list of the openers you supply and fit saves them a phone call.

Proof

Proof that wins the quote

  • Doors on real garages

Photos taken from the drive in daylight, with the door shut and then open, show the work from both sides.

  • Old door, new door

A photo of the tired door beside the new one tells the story at a glance. Send both and we pair them.

  • Words from customers

Words from past customers go beside your doors, copied as they wrote them. We never add to them.

  • The fitting team

A photo of the people who will be on the drive, with first names if you like, helps a customer feel at ease.

Registrations and memberships

Fitting an electric door can involve electrical work and safety rules. If you hold a registration or a membership for that, it gets a prominent spot on the page. We name only what you tell us you hold.

What we build

The pages we build

  1. Home

A big photo of a finished door, a short line on what you fit and a button to ask for a survey.

  2. Door styles

Each type of door you fit, with a photo and a few plain words on how it opens and where it suits.

  3. Colours and finishes

The colours and finishes on offer, shown in a neat grid, so a customer can pick before the visit.

  4. Repairs

A page for sticking doors and broken springs, saying what you repair and when a new door makes more sense.

  5. About you

Who will come to the house, in a short note with a photo of you or the crew.

  6. Ask for a survey

A short form for the door size, the type wanted and how to reach the customer.

Planning ahead

Cold weather can make a tired door stick or struggle, so winter calls are often about repairs. Spring and summer bring people who want a smarter front to the house. Autumn is a time to book a service before the cold. Your website stays open through all of it.

The Payment package

Deposits and final payments

Some installers take a deposit when the door is ordered. When it is up and working, the customer is ready to pay the rest. A card machine in your van lets them settle up at the door, with no cash to find and no invoice to chase.

The terms, in full

  • Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
  • Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
  • Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
  • Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
  • Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Questions

Quick answers

Can customers see door styles side by side?

Yes. We build a page that lines up each type of door with a photo and a few plain words, so a visitor can compare them without ringing you.

Do you need to list prices?

No. A door price depends on size, style and extras. A line that says how you quote is enough, and we add a starting price only if you give us one.

Can the site say you repair doors too?

Yes. A repairs page tells owners of a stuck or broken door that they can ring you before they spend money on a new one.

What do you need to start?

A handful of photos of finished doors and a list of the types you fit. A phone camera is fine. We ask for the rest as we go.

Can you show the colours on offer?

It depends on what you can send us. With a list of colours or photos of samples, we show them on a page. Without them, we leave that page out.

Can a customer ask for a survey online?

Yes. Every page has a button to a short form. It asks about the garage opening and the door they like, so you know what you are looking at before you visit.
