Building and renovation · Roofline installers

Let your neat edges speak for you.

A homeowner looks up at faded, sagging boards along the edge of the roof. Water has stained the wall below the gutter. They search for someone to replace it all and open a few sites. They want close-up photos of tidy edges and an easy way to ask about the job.

Your website, drawn. An illustration of a website for roofline installers. It is a drawing, not a real site.
Before they ask

What people want to know

Will it look neat from the road?

Fascias and soffits are seen by everyone who walks past. Close photos of finished edges, with straight lines and clean corners, show your standard better than words can.

Which colours and styles are on offer?

A gallery grouped by colour and style lets visitors picture the finish on their own house. Show only the finishes you really fit.

Will it mean scaffolding and mess?

Work at the roof edge often needs a tower or a scaffold. A short note on who arranges it and how you leave the drive answers the question before it is asked.

Can customers replace just the gutters?

Some people need one run of boards and others want the whole house done. Say which jobs you take on and visitors know straight away if you suit them.

Proof

Proof that wins the quote

  • Close-up edges

Photos taken from a ladder or the ground show tight joints and clean corners. A phone is enough, and we tidy the crop.

  • Old and new side by side

Faded boards beside fresh ones make the change clear in seconds. Send both photos and we match them up.

  • Colour in daylight

One photo for each finish you fit, taken in daylight, so a visitor sees the real shade and not a swatch.

  • Your crew

A photo of the people who will be at the front of the house puts a face to the work.

Registrations and memberships

Roofline work happens at height and can touch other trades. If you or your crew hold registrations or memberships, we give them a clear place on your website. Nothing is shown unless you tell us you hold it.

What we build

The pages we build

  1. Home

A clear photo of a finished roof edge, one line on what you fit and a button to ask about your house.

  2. Boards and gutters

What each part is and does, in plain words, so a visitor learns what they need.

  3. Finishes

The colours and styles you fit, shown in daylight photos, grouped so a visitor can compare them.

  4. Before and after

Old, stained edges beside the finished house, each pair with a short note on the work.

  5. About you

You and your crew, with a photo and a few lines on how you look after a home.

  6. Ask about your house

A short form that asks about the home, the boards and where to send a picture.

Planning ahead

Autumn leaves and winter rain show up faulty gutters fast. Dry spring days suit fitting and painting new boards. Summer is a good time to plan ahead, so a page about getting the edges ready before the wet months is useful.

The Payment package

Deposits and final payments

Many roofline jobs are done in a day or two, and customers like to settle up when the last board is on. A card machine lets them pay at the door. A payment link sent by text covers the ones who are out.

The terms, in full

  • Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
  • Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
  • Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
  • Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
  • Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Questions

Quick answers

Must the site show every colour?

No. Show the finishes you fit most often. A short line saying that others can be ordered covers the rest, if that is true for you.

Can the gallery show the old boards too?

Yes. Old and new photos of the same house, side by side, show the change. Each pair sits next to a short note about the work.

Should the page explain the parts?

A little. Plain words help, such as fascia for the long board at the roof edge and soffit for the board underneath it. We explain each term when it first appears.

What if you also fit gutters?

Say so on the page about your jobs. Boards and gutters are often done together, and many customers like to deal with one firm for both.

Can people send a photo of their house?

Yes. The form has a place for a picture of the roof edge. It helps you see the size of the job and the access before you reply.

How do new jobs get onto the site?

Send a photo and one line when a house is done. We add it to the gallery, so your latest work is always on show.
