Building and renovation · Double glazing, windows and door fitters

Show your windows from the inside out.

The old frames let in draughts and the glass has misted up. A couple decide it is time for new windows and a new front door. They compare a few fitters on a laptop. They want styles, colours and a simple way to ask for a survey.

Before they ask

What people want to know

Will it suit our style of home?

Frames come in many shapes, colours and finishes. Photos of finished windows and doors on real houses, sorted by style, help a customer picture the match.

Will you make a mess?

Fitting means old frames come out and new ones go in. A short page on how a fitting day runs, and how you look after floors and furniture, calms the worry.

What glass and frames do you fit?

Words like sealed unit and triple glazing can confuse people. A plain guide to the glass and frames you fit, in short sentences, clears it up.

How do we book a survey?

A survey comes before a price. A short form on every page, asking how many windows and doors, lets a customer take that first step in a minute.

Proof

Proof that wins the quote

  • Finished windows

Photos from outside and inside, in daylight, with the windows shut and then open. A phone does the job.

  • Old frame, new frame

A photo before and a photo after, taken from the same spot, shows the change in one look.

  • Comments from customers

Comments from past customers are shown as they wrote them, next to the windows they chose.

  • Your fitting team

A photo of the fitters and a line about who measures and who fits helps a customer know who to expect.

Registrations and memberships

Replacement windows and doors can come with registrations or memberships. Any you hold get a clear spot near the top of the page. We list only the ones you tell us about.

Planning ahead

Cold rooms and draughts get people thinking about windows in autumn and winter. Spring brings plans for the house, and summer light shows up misted glass. A website that shows your work is ready whenever someone starts to look.

The Payment package

Deposits and final payments

A new set of windows is a big bill. Some fitters take a deposit with the order and the rest when the last frame is in. A card machine means the customer can pay the balance there and then, with no bank details to read out.

The terms, in full

  • Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
  • Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
  • Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
  • Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
  • Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Questions

Quick answers

Can windows and doors share one site?

Yes. Windows and doors each get their own page, with a link between them, so a visitor can follow either one without getting lost.

Must you list a price per window?

No. The cost depends on the size, the frame and the glass, so lots of fitters talk first. We add a starting price only when you ask us to.

What if you fit more than one kind of frame?

Then each kind gets its own short section, so a visitor sees what is on offer. You do not need a separate site for each.

How do you show the colours?

With photos of finished jobs, or with sample photos you send us. We lay them out in a grid that is easy to scan on a phone.

Can customers book a survey on the page?

Yes. A short form sits on every page. It asks how many windows and doors, and how to reach the customer.

Will you add a job when we finish one?

Yes. Send a photo and a line, and we add the job to the gallery. The site grows as your list of finished work grows.
