Show your builds, start the conversation.
A family wants a bigger kitchen and a bedroom above it. They search for a builder and open several websites at once. They look for a finished extension that looks like theirs. Then they look for an easy way to get in touch.

What people want to know
Can customers see a finished job?
A big build is hard to picture from a list of services. Photos of whole extensions, taken from the garden and from inside, show what the finished job looks like.
Will the crew look after the home?
Weeks of dust and noise in a family home is a lot to ask. A page where you explain how you cover floors, keep the site tidy and share news with the family eases that worry.
Do you do all of it?
Some builders dig the groundwork and lay the roof, and some bring in other trades. Say plainly which parts you do yourself and which you manage, and customers know who to call.
Is it simple to ask for a visit?
A first visit is how most builds begin. A short form on every page asks about the plan and a good time to meet, so the first step is small.
Proof that wins the quote
Whole-build photos
Wide photos of each finished extension, inside and out, taken in daylight. Photos from a phone work well and we tidy them for the page.
Stages in pictures
A few photos taken as the job goes on, from groundwork to plaster, show customers how a build is made. Send them as you go.
Plans and drawings
If you work from drawings, a plan beside the finished photo shows how an idea became a room. Add only plans you are happy to share.
Words from customers
Kind words from past customers sit beside the build they paid for, in the words they chose.
Registrations and memberships
Building work can come with registrations or memberships, and some jobs need sign-off from the council. Should you hold some, we set aside a clear spot for them on the page. Nothing is listed unless you tell us it is yours.
The pages we build
- Home
A large photo of a finished extension, one line about what you build and a button to ask for a visit.
- Finished builds
Whole projects shown in photos, each with a short line about the size of the job and what you did.
- What we build
Extensions, renovations and conversions in plain words, with a note on the jobs you pass to other trades.
- How a build runs
Each stage from the first visit to the handover, in the order it happens, so families know what comes next.
- About the team
You, your site team and the trades you work with, with a photo and a few lines each.
- Ask for a visit
A short form with the type of job, the plans so far and how to reach the customer.
Planning ahead
Many people plan building work for the drier months, so questions often pile up as the days get longer. Winter is a quiet time to draw, price and book a job for spring. Photos from every season tell visitors that you build all year round.
Deposits and final payments
A build is paid for in steps. A first payment starts the work, more follow as each stage is done, and a last one closes the job. With a card machine the customer can settle each stage on the spot, so the money reaches you without a wait.
The terms, in full
- Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
- Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
- Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
- Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
- Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Quick answers
How many photos should we send?
It depends. Six to ten clear photos of finished builds, inside and out, make a good start. Photos from a phone work well, and we add more whenever you send them.
Can the site show jobs in progress?
Yes. A few photos from mid-build, such as walls going up or a roof frame, show how you work. You choose which ones to share.
Can the website say what a build costs?
It can, but it does not have to. Every build is different, so many builders say a price comes after a visit. We use your words, not ours.
What about plans and drawings?
Add them if you wish. A drawing next to the finished photo shows how a plan became a room. Skip it when the plans belong to the customer.
Will the site say which trades you bring in?
Yes, if you want it to. A short list of the trades you work with, such as electricians or plumbers, tells customers the whole job is covered.
Can you add a build when a job ends?
Of course. Pass us a few photos and a note about the job when it is done. We add them to your pages, so the site grows with your work.
See your website before you decide.
Tell us about your business. We build the website first, free, and show you. Then we compare your card rate and you decide.
