What people want to know
Will a loft work in this house?
Every roof is different, and customers know it. A page that explains how you check a loft on a first visit shows that you look before you promise.
What will the work be like?
Stairs, noise and builders overhead worry a busy family. Say how you keep the house usable and how you protect the rooms below, and the worry gets smaller.
What does the job involve?
Floor, stairs, windows and finish are many steps. A short page that lays them out in order makes a big job feel clear.
Can people find a loft like theirs?
Roof shapes differ, so a customer wants to find their own. Sort your photos by the style of loft, and each visitor finds the one that looks like their house.
Proof that wins the quote
Before and after
The same loft shown twice, as an empty roof space and as a finished room. It is the picture people remember.
Room photos
Wide, bright photos of finished rooms, with the stairs and windows in view. Shots from a phone will do.
Stage photos
A few shots of the frame, the floor and the insulation going in show people what sits behind the plaster.
Words from families
Short, kind words from families who now use the room, set beside their loft photos and left as they wrote them.
Registrations and memberships
Loft work often needs approval from the council, and some builders hold registrations or memberships too. Should you hold any, we set aside a clear spot for them on the page. We list nothing you have not told us about.
The pages we build
- Home
A bold before-and-after of one loft, a line on what you do and a button to ask what could be done.
- Loft styles
Dormer, roof-light and other styles, one page each, so people find the one that suits their roof.
- Finished lofts
Rooms you have built, shown in large photos with a short note on the space and what it became.
- Step by step
From first visit to final coat, each stage in order, with a note on how you keep the rest of the house clear.
- Meet the team
The people who will be up and down the stairs, with a photo and a few lines about each.
- Ask about your loft
A short form for the house type, the roof shape and what the family would like the room to be.
Planning ahead
Many families start to think about a loft room when a baby is on the way or a child needs space. Roof work suits drier weather, so people often plan in the cold months and build when it warms. Fresh photos through the year keep the page looking busy.
Deposits and final payments
A loft room is paid for in stages: a deposit, a payment when the frame is up, and a last one at handover. A card machine lets families settle each stage on the spot, so you are not waiting for a bank transfer to land.
The terms, in full
- Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
- Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
- Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
- Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
- Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Quick answers
Do you need before photos?
They help a lot. A photo of the empty roof space next to the finished room tells the story at a glance. With none, your finished photos still work.
Can the website sort lofts by type?
Yes. Each style can have its own page or gallery group, so a visitor with a hipped roof sees lofts that look like theirs.
Should the site say how long a loft takes?
Only if you want it to. Some builders give a rough time, and others say it depends on the house. We use whichever you choose.
What about plans and approval?
Say how you handle them. A short note on drawings and sign-off, or on who arranges them, saves a customer a call. We write it in your words.
Can you show a loft still being built?
Of course. A few photos of a frame, a floor or a staircase going in show how you work. You decide which ones go on the page.
How do new lofts reach the site?
Send us photos and a short note once a loft is done. We add them to the right gallery and the right loft style.
