Interiors and finishing · Blind, shutter and curtain fitters

Show every window, open the conversation.

A couple have a bare bedroom window and a bright street light outside. They search for someone to fit blinds or shutters and open a few sites. They look for real windows with the work in place. Then they look for a simple way to book a visit to measure.

Your website, drawn. An illustration of a website for blind, shutter and curtain fitters. It is a drawing, not a real site.
Before they ask

What people want to know

Will it fit my window?

Every window is a little different. A page that explains how you measure, and that you measure before you make, shows that fit matters to you.

Does it look right on a real window?

Photos of finished windows say more than a catalogue. Show blinds up, blinds down and shutters open and shut, so people see how each one works.

What types do you fit?

Roller, roman, vertical and venetian blinds, shutters and curtain tracks all look different. A short list with a photo of each helps a customer find the one they mean.

How long will it take?

People want to know when the visit happens and when the fitting is done. A short page about the steps, from measuring to fitting, answers this without a call.

Proof

Proof that wins the quote

  • Fitted windows in daylight

Photos taken from inside the room show the light, the fit and the finish. A phone camera is fine, and we use only the ones you send.

  • Up, down and open

A pair of photos, blind up and blind down, shows what a customer is buying. We set the pair side by side for you.

  • Kind words, as written

A line from a happy customer goes next to the window you dressed for them, copied exactly as it was sent.

  • Fabrics and finishes

A small strip of the colours and materials you offer. We show only what you tell us you can supply.

Registrations and memberships

Some blind fitters belong to a trade body or hold a membership linked to their products. If you have one, we give it a clear place on your site. Nothing is listed unless it is yours.

What we build

The pages we build

  1. Home

A bright photo of a dressed window, one line about what you fit and a clear button to book a visit.

  2. Blinds and shutters

Each type with a photo and a short note on where it works well, so people can pick the one they like.

  3. Gallery

Finished windows, room by room, with blinds up and down so visitors see how they look in use.

  4. Measuring and fitting

A simple page that explains the measure, the making and the fit, so customers know what comes next.

  5. About you

You and your crew, with a photo and a short note on how you fit.

  6. Book a visit

A short form for the room, the type of window and a good time for you to call.

Planning ahead

Blinds sell all year, but bright sunny weeks make people think of shade and glare. Long dark evenings bring thoughts of blackout blinds and warm curtains. New homes and new rooms need fitting at any time. Your website is open for all of it.

The Payment package

Deposits and final payments

The blinds are up and the customer likes the light. Some fitters ask for part of the money when the order is placed and the rest at the fitting. A card machine lets the customer pay each part on the spot, without a cheque or a transfer.

The terms, in full

  • Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
  • Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
  • Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
  • Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
  • Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Questions

Quick answers

Can people book a measuring visit online?

Yes. We add a short form for the room, the window and a good time to call. A visitor can ask in a minute, without hunting for a phone number.

Should the site show every type you fit?

Yes. Each type gets its own short entry with a photo, such as roller, roman or shutter. It saves a visitor from guessing what you offer.

Can the site show fabric and colours?

Yes, if you want to. We add a swatch strip with the colours you offer. We list only the ones you can supply.

What if you fit curtains and tracks as well?

Curtains and tracks can have an entry of their own, so those customers do not leave to look elsewhere.

Do you need a photo of every window type?

No. Start with what you have. A few clear photos of finished rooms are enough, and we add more as you send them.

Can you add a line about safe cords?

Yes. Tell us how you keep cords out of reach of children and we write it in plain words. We add nothing about safety that you have not told us.
