Let your finished roofs do the talking.
A dark stain has spread across the bedroom ceiling after a night of wind and rain. The owner climbs into the loft with a torch, then searches for someone to look at the roof. They open a few websites. They want to see roofs you have finished and know how to ask for a visit.

What people want to know
Is the roof type covered?
Slate, clay tile and flat roofs all need different skills. A page of finished roofs, each with a short note on the type, shows a visitor that you know theirs.
Will the house stay dry meanwhile?
People fear a roof left open when rain is on the way. A short page on how you cover the work each evening and watch the weather puts that fear to rest.
Who will be up on the roof?
A roof sits over the family for the whole job. A photo of you and your crew, with a line on who does what, helps a stranger say yes.
How does a visit get booked?
Nobody can give a fair price for a roof from the road. A short form asks about the roof and the problem, and lets the visitor attach photos, so you start with facts.
Proof that wins the quote
Finished roofs
Clear photos taken in daylight, showing straight lines and neat edges. A phone is fine, and we crop them to fit.
Before and after
A mossy, sagging roof next to the same roof finished tells the story fast. Send both and we place them side by side.
Work in progress
Photos taken mid-job, such as bare battens and fresh felt, show care that nobody sees once the tiles are on.
You and your crew
A photo of the people who will be on the roof helps a customer feel easy about letting you near the house.
Registrations and memberships
Some roofers belong to a trade body or hold a registration for certain work. Where you hold any, we give them a clear place on your website. We show only what you tell us you hold.
The pages we build
- Home
A big photo of a finished roof, a short line on the work you do and a button to book a visit.
- Roofs we cover
Tiles, slate, flat roofs and more, set out so a visitor can find their own roof type at a glance.
- Gallery
Finished roofs in clear photos, sorted by roof type, with a short note under each one.
- How a visit works
What happens from the first look at the roof to the last tidy of the drive, in plain steps.
- About you
You, your crew and your van, with a photo and a few lines on how you work.
- Book a visit
A short form that asks about the roof, the problem and where to send photos.
Planning ahead
Storms and heavy rain send people to their phones in a hurry. Dry spells bring the bigger jobs, as owners plan a new roof for the long days. Winter can be slow for planned work but busy for leaks. A page that shows repairs and full roofs suits every month.
Deposits and final payments
A new roof is a big bill, and the weather can make the date move. Some roofers ask for a deposit for the materials and the rest when the last tile is on. A card machine lets the customer pay at the door, so the final payment does not wait on a bank transfer.
The terms, in full
- Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
- Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
- Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
- Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
- Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Quick answers
Can you show repairs as well as new roofs?
Yes. The gallery can have two sections, one for repairs and one for full roofs, so a visitor with a few loose tiles does not think the site is only for big jobs.
What should the roof photos show?
Whole roofs and close-ups. Take them in dry, bright light from the ground, then add a shot of the ridge or the edge. Your phone will do the job.
Must the site show prices for roof work?
No. A roof price depends on the size, the slope and what lies underneath, so many roofers say it is set after a visit. We write whatever you tell us and nothing more.
Can a customer send photos of their roof?
Yes. The visit form has a place to attach pictures. A photo of a stain or a slipped tile helps you see the problem before you arrive.
What if you cover only some roof types?
That is fine. Name the roof types you cover, such as slate only or flat roofs only. Visitors who need something else move on, and the ones you want stay.
Can you add roofs as jobs finish?
Yes, whenever a job ends. Send the photos and a line about the roof, and the gallery grows with your work.
