Home services · Removals, man-with-a-van and house clearance

Make a big day feel like a small one.

A family have found a house and a date. Now they must get everything from one door to the other. They open a few removal websites and compare them. They look for a clear way to describe the job and ask for a quote.

Your website, drawn. An illustration of a website for removals, man-with-a-van and house clearance. It is a drawing, not a real site.
Before they ask

What people want to know

Will my things arrive safe?

People worry about chips, scratches and lost boxes. Photos of loaded vans and wrapped furniture, and a line on how you pack, show the care you take.

Can you do a job this size?

A flat, a big house and one sofa are very different jobs. A short page on the sizes you take on, from a van load to a full house, helps people pick you.

Will you turn up on the day?

A move has a fixed date, and a late van causes stress. Say how you plan the day, and how people can reach you while the move is under way.

How do people ask for a quote?

Customers want a quote without a long form. A short form for the rooms, the stairs and the dates lets them ask in a minute, and you start with the facts.

Proof

Proof that wins the quote

  • Loaded and wrapped

Photos of a neat van load and furniture in blankets show care better than words can. Any phone will do.

  • The people at the door

A photo of the team, with a name for each, helps a customer picture who will be in their home.

  • Words from past movers

Thank-you notes from people you have moved sit beside your photos, as they were written.

  • A clear quote path

A short list of what you ask for in a quote, and what happens next, so nobody is left wondering.

Registrations and memberships

Some removals and clearance work needs a registration, a membership or a certificate for carrying goods or waste. Where you hold any, they get a clear place on your page. Only what you tell us is yours is shown.

What we build

The pages we build

  1. Home

  3. How a move works

From the first quote to the last box, step by step, so customers know what comes next.

  4. Gallery

Planning ahead

Moves bunch up around the school holidays and at the ends of months. Summer is busy and winter is quieter, though sales still happen. Clearances follow big life changes at any time of year. Your page earns its keep in the busy weeks, when people have no time to ring around.

The Payment package

Deposits and final payments

The last box is down and the van is empty. Customers often pay a deposit to hold the date and the rest on the day. A card machine lets them do both with a tap, so you are paid before you drive off.

The terms, in full

  • Card machine £25 + VAT a month, paid to our payment provider.
  • Website, domain, hosting and one business mailbox included while you keep the machine.
  • Minimum term as set by the payment provider's agreement: 3 months for a sole trader, 18 months for a limited company.
  • Extra mailboxes £25 a year.
  • Stop the machine and we offer to keep the website live at £20 a month.
Questions

Quick answers

Can customers describe the job on the page?

Yes. We build a form that asks for the rooms, the stairs, the kind of items and the dates. You get the facts in one message and can reply with a quote.

Must you list how much each move costs?

No. Moves vary by size, distance and stairs, so many firms ask for details first. We leave room for a starting price or a line about how you quote.

Can the site cover clearances too?

Yes. House and garage clearances can have their own page, with a note on what you take away. Then people who need a clear-out find you as easily as people who are moving.

What photos do you need for a removals page?

A few clear ones. Photos of your van, a wrapped sofa and a neat load are a good start. A phone is enough, and we add more as you send them.

Can people say which dates suit them?

Yes. The quote form has a place for the move date and a second choice. You can see if the day is free before you reply.

Can you show the size of your vans?

Yes, if that helps. A simple list of your vans, with what each one can carry, helps people pick the right size. You give us the facts and we write them down.
